Tracce di alcol in Pepsi, Coca Cola ed altre bevande gassate

Diverse bevande gassate, fra le quali la Coca-Cola e la Pepsi, contengono deboli tracce di alcol, secondo quanto rivelato dall’Istituto nazionale del consumo (Inc) francese, dopo alcuni test commissionati dalla rivista 60 millions de consommateurs.
”Circa la metà delle bibite gassate testate – si legge in un comunicato della redazione – contengono alcol a dosi tuttavia molto deboli, fino a 10 milligrammi per litro (0,001% di alcol)”. Sulle 19 bibite testate, 9 non contengono alcol e 10 ne contengono meno di 10 mg/l.
In Francia, il codice della salute pubblica prevede che le bevande dette ‘senza alcol’ possano contenerne tracce, a un dosaggio inferiore all’1,2%. La presenza di tracce di alcol nelle bibite, e in particolare nella Coca Cola, è oggetto di discussioni da molto tempo, in particolare sui forum di internet dedicati alla religione musulmana, che si chiedono se la bevanda sia conforme alle regole dell’alimentazione hallal.
Coca-Cola certifica sul suo sito internet che le sue bevande sono ”non alcoliche” e riconosciute come tali ”dalle autorità governative di ogni paese”.
