Meteo: weekend più fresco ma a Ferragosto arriva ‘Caligola’

Infiltrazioni di aria fresca in arrivo dal nord innescheranno già da oggi pomeriggio temporali sulle Alpi orientali, sulle Alpi marittime, sull’Appennino centrale e sul frusinate, con un weekend che si preannuncia più mite su tutta la penisola grazie all’arrivo di masse d’aria fresche dal mar Baltico.
Ma a cavallo del giorno di Ferragosto e’ atteso un nuovo aumento delle temperature per l’arrivo del sesto anticiclone africano: Caligola. E’ quanto annuncia Antonio Sanò, direttore del portale www.ilmeteo.it che avverte: “Con Caligola si aggraverà l’allarme siccità e moltissime zone supereranno i 70 giorni ininterrotti senza piogge”.
Nel weekend dunque l’arrivo di venti di Bora e tramontana riporterà la colonnina di mercurio a 26 gradi al nord, 27-28 sulle regioni adriatiche e 30-32 sul resto del centrosud e Isole, su valori quindi in linea o addirittura leggermente al di sotto delle medie. Ma le temperature aumenteranno da Ferragosto al 21 del mese, perchè Caligola pomperà aria calda direttamente dal Marocco: si raggiungeranno i 38-39 gradi a Bologna, Firenze, Roma, e punte di 40 al sud, Sicilia e Sardegna.
Insomma un’estate infinita che ha già battuto tutti i record almeno al centrosud: non si sono mai verificate 6 fiammate di caldo africano, praticamente una di seguito all’altra, così lunghe e durature almeno negli ultimi 50 anni. E molte città del centrosud batteranno i record
dell’estate 2003.
